Abstract (EN)
In order for any text to be understood and explained, the meaning of the words and expressions in that text must be determined correctly. The Quran is also a guide of guidance sent by Almighty Allah to humanity in order to be understood. For this reason, understanding the world view of the Quran and divine determination depends on revealing the meanings indicated by the concepts of the Qur'an. Semantic method is one of the methods used recently for understanding the Quran. Semantics is defined as "the study of the key words of a language".Since this method is based on robust criteria, it is a method frequently used in determining the meanings indicated by the words of the Qur'an. Many concepts are used to express women in the Quran. İmrae, ünsâ, nisâ, zevc etc. These are some of the concepts. This study aims to understand correctly the conceptual expression of women in the Quran and the principles set forth by Islam regarding the vision of women and their social roles, based on the Qur'an. Keywords: Quran, woman, semantic, word
