آفاتاللسـانفـيالقرآن الكريم دراسة موضوعية

This thesis deals with the sins of the tongue in the Holy Quran as an objective study, it aims to define the concept of tongue's sins as mentioned in the Holy Qur'an, to determine their types, and methods of preventing them. The study followed the descriptive analytical approach when identifying the verses that talked about the tongue's sins and analyzing them to know the divine guidance in dealing with them. The results of the study are summarized in the following: - The sin(الآفة) in all its meanings is reprehensible, rather its utterance can bear nothing but evil, and the scourges of the tongue: backbiting, slander, perjury, espionage, mistrust, breach of concealment, asking for private parts, speaking out of evil and harm, and false speech, which the Sharia has not neglected to explain, so both of the Qur'an And the Sunnah contains a strong warning to humankind, and even a threat of Hill to everyone who harms people with his words. - It is a lack of faith to offend people, and that a true Muslim is safe from his tongue. - The silence in many times and conditions is a virtue, even in previous relegions it was a worship, and that the curiosity of speech is the status of the heedless. - What is going on today in terms of joking, praising, or calling names is something that the Qur'an and Sunnah condemn, and there is no excuse for those who want to joke about hurting people with their words. - The soul, like a child, needs education and patience in training it in good silence and good speech. And that the greatest jihad requires carrying the soul to what it hates, and perhaps it is the most difficult human battle. - A good teacher and a good idol is a real need in the life of every human being to get rid of bad behaviour. - - Even if fasting is abstaining from food, it weakens desires, including: the desire to talk, gossip, and hurt people, and thus it can be considered a useful way to straighten the tongue. - That the word has weight in God's scale, so by the word the unbeliever enters Islam and by the word the Muslim exits to disbelief, and this is a strong argument against those who claim that the word does not affect faith, and for this they speak bad words.
