Küresel kapitalizm bağlamında Türkiye yol filmlerinde beden ve mekân ilişkisi

This study aims to analyze the relationship of the body and space in the road films of Turkey. The study examines the mobility conditions of cinematic bodies traveling in cinematic spaces in the films Umut (Hope, Yılmaz Güney, 1970), Otobüs (The Bus, Tunç Okan, 1975), Yol (The Road, Yılmaz Güney & Şerif Gören, 1982), Sarı Mercedes (Mercedes mon amour, Tunç Okan, 1992), Güneşe Yolculuk (Journey to the Sun, Yeşim Ustaoğlu, 1999), Gitmek: Benim Marlon ve Brandom (My Marlon and Brando, Hüseyin Karabey, 2008), Bir Zamanlar Anadolu'da (Once Upon a Time in Anatolia, Nuri Bilge Ceylan, 2011). The focus of the study is on the restrictive effects of the spatial arrangements of neoliberalism on the bodies in road films. The relationship of cinematic bodies in motion with space in road films is analyzed through an approach that examines the particular level of the body and the universal level of global capitalism in a political economic context.
