Kurumsal firma çalışanlarının çocukluk çağı travmaları ile işe bağlı duygusal tükenmişlikleri arasında bir araştırma

The main purpose of this research is to determine the predictive role of childhood traumas in explaining job-related emotional burnout. In addition, this study examined the relationship between childhood traumas, job-related emotional burnout and demographic variables such as age, gender, marital status, parental status, chronic illness and cigarettes and alcohol consumption status. The research group consisted of 310 corporate company employees. Participants were subjected to the ''Demographics Form'' created by the researcher, the ''Childhood Trauma Questionnaire (CTQ-33)'' to measure childhood traumas and the ''Job-Related Emotional Exhaustion Scale'' to measure emotional burnout levels. The obtained data were analyzed with the IBM Statistical Packet for Social Sciences (SPSS) 22.0 program. Correlation analysis, Simple Linear Regression analysis, Independent Sample T-Test and one-way ANOVA analysis were used in the research. According to results, child overprotection- overcontrol which is the subdimension of childhood traumas had predictive role on job-related emotional burnout. Significant relationships were found between the variables of the study and gender, marital status, and chronic illness. On the basis of the relevant literature, the study's findings were discussed and suggestions for future research and application areas were presented.
