The evaluation of ?Gönül Köprüsü? project as a corporate social responsibility project

This research explains "Corporate Social Responsibility" concept and examines ?Gönül Köprüsü? Project which is performed in our country within "Corporate Social Responsibility" context. This research tries to determine if the desired result was achieved in ?Gönül Köprüsü? project considering the students composing the target group. Implementation results of ?Gönül Köprüsü? Project was analysed to determine if the project has been successful.The study consists of two main parts, theoretical and application. In the theoretical part, on the whole the concept of corporate social responsibility defined, other related concepts and confusing concepts were explained to describe Corporate Social Responsibility in Turkey. The study presents information about the education projects performed in our country by goverment agencies in collaboration with private sector. Detailed information was presented about ?Gönül Köprüsü? which is one of these education projectsIn the application part, the qualitative research method is used and research data was obtained from 60 students participated "Gönül Köprüsü" project in Ankara and Van provinces and semi-structured interview form is used in the face to face interviews. At the end of the interviews recorded sound recordings was deciphered with permission of the participants. In the analysis of data "content analysis" method is used and created codes entered into a table.According to the survey results, It is concluded that ?Gönül Köprüsü? Project created positive changes on the students and the desired result of the project was achieved. Research results can be considered as enlightening for arrangement of forthcoming ?Gönül Köprüsü?
