Abstract (TR)
Bu tez çalışması, 2000-2011 döneminde Kyoto ükelerindeki sektörel düzeydeki çevresel etkinlik kazanımlarını incelemektedir. İlk olarak, Kyoto ülkeleri için sektörel düzeydeki çevresel etkinliklik endeksleri, parametrik olmayan parçalı doğrusal bir teknoloji için veri zarflama tekniğiyle hiperbolik bir ölçü kullanılarak hesaplanmıştır. Kyoto Protokolü'nün sektörel düzeydeki çevresel etkinlik değişiklikleri üzerindeki rolü ampirik olarak incelenmiştir. Sonuçlar, Kyoto Protokolü'nün yürürlüğe girmesinden sonraki dönemlerde sektördeki çevresel etkinliğin iyileştiğini, bu iyileşmenin özellikle kirli sektörlerde görüldüğünü göstermektedir.
