Abstract (EN)

Lymphomas are solid tumors of the lymphatic system with an increasing diagnosis worldwide. Not only pathological differences, but also patient's gender, age, geographic region, affected tissue/organs, presence and/or height of immunohistochemical indicators affect treatment and survival. Response to treatment, mortality and morbidity are associated with this difference. In our study; It was aimed to examine the effects of extranodal lymph involvement and IPI score on survival and prognosis in patients with non-Hodgkin and Hodgkin lymphoma. The study included 262 patients diagnosed with Hodgkin and Non Hodgkin lymphoma who applied to Fırat University Medical Faculty Hospital. Demographic data such as age, gender, site of involvement, laboratory parameters, and IPI scores of these patients were analyzed retrospectively. The effects of demographic data, IPI score and extranodal involvement on survival were analyzed. In our study, when we classified our 97 patients with DLBCL according to the IPI score, 8 patients 1 (low risk), 25 patients 2 (low-intermediate risk), 36 patients 3 (moderate-high risk), 23 patients 4 (high risk), and 1 patient 5 ( high risk). It was observed that survival was low in patients with high IPI scores. In our study, 5-year survival was found to be 67% in the high-risk group and 22% in the low-risk group. While 66.3% (171) of our patients had nodal involvement, 33.7% (87) had extranodal involvement. The effect of extranodal involvement on survival was 105,419 months (102,09-108,820 months) in patients without involvement. It was 103.38 (97,548-109,215 months) in those with extranodal involvement. The difference is not statistically significant.(p:0.171) Extranodal involvement, on the other hand, was 11.6% (31) of bone involvement, which was the most common area, whereas 88.4% (227) patients did not have bone involvement. The mean life expectancy in patients with bone involvement was 105,708 (102.014-109.401). In patients without bone involvement, the mean life expectancy was 104,613 (97,901-111,325). The difference is not statistically significant.(p:0.728) Keywords: Lymphoma, Extralymphatic Involvement, Prognosis, Hodgkin
