Abstract (EN)

Lisânu'l-'Arab, one of the works written with the aim of protecting the Qur'an and Sunnah; It is a dictionary that has been respected by linguists for centuries since the day it was written. The author of this work is Ibn Manzur; He is a scholar who proved himself with his successful aspects in various sciences, trained many scholars throughout his life, and produced many works that will shed light on future generations. Istishhad method literary term meaning to bring precise examples to prove grammatical rules, structure and meaning of words) which is found in many dictionaries and used in this dictionary, has been one of the most important factors in verifying the information given in the dictionary. The method of istishhad, which is one of the foundations of Arab linguists; It is applied with elements such as Qur'anic verses, Hadith, Poetry, Arabic theology. However, it has been accepted by the alliance of linguists that the most consistent of these four elements, both in terms of literature and eloquence, is the verses of the Qur'an. Of course, this does not show that the information evidenced by other istishhad elements is wrong. It is seen that Ibn Manzûr brought ıstishhâd from Qur'anic verses, Hadith, Poetry and Arabic theology in his work. While bringing istishhâd on many branches of Arabic science in Lisânu'l-'Arab, it benefits from these four sources and gains the nature of an encyclopedia as a comprehensive dictionary, In this study, only the meanings of the Qur'anic verses and word meanings, consummation, nahiv, rhetoric, qiraat, some places, religions, tribes, istishhads for the names of food and drink are examined. (القراءة ), In the dictionary qiraat is an infinitive meaning "to read, chant, pronounce"; It is a noun in the sense of reading aloud or silently, with or without a tune, to chant) are
