Özet (EN)

The countries? good or bad relationships, which has been established in historical process, effect the shaping of present day and future. The most important thing that transfers this effects from generation to generation is ?History Education?. The countries and communities that being in good or bad relationship with Turkey are also so much because of Turkey?s geographic and geopolitical position. So ?History Textbooks? are effected from this. In this study one of these is selected as a sample and prepared. The Turk and Arab relationships in The History of Republic Textbooks that instructed between 1923-2007 in Turkey has been analyzed. The relationships? that were established via partnership of religion and geography for approximately 1350 years, effects and its taking place in books were inevitable. Especially, the subjects about First World War and Turkey Republic?s foreign policy compose this study?s structure.In results of study, The Turk-Arab relationships were effected High School Republic History Textbook and it was seen that these relationships? development processes and problems reflected in books. And the other result; the parts that related this study?s subject are poorly in most of the books. When the other countries which have same problem in parallel time give much importance on this subject, but there aren?t enough importance in these books. In presents of subject, there were not attended to supportive component. The presents of subjects are different from each books.
