Abstract (EN)

Until the rise of the idea of Enlightenment and modernity, the man saw himself as a part of the universe. Within that period the meaning that man ascribes to the universe was also shaped within the context of logos. While the human being is an entity that moves in that meaningful order ruled by logos until modernism, later on, by adopting the rational behaviors he creates another order that centers himself. The objective reason, which is both the new consolator and the reference of the order that shatters the Logos, has tended to disperse its objective content in the advancing of modern times. In this respect, modernism turns into an ideology or a zeitgeist. Thus, it appears as a normative term that legitimizes certain discourses and praxis but also excludes others. Therefore, modernity, which deviated from its ideals, inevitably faced a crisis. The crisis of modernity made it necessary for it to reconfigure itself in other ways and allowed the public sphere to be rethought. In this study, first of all, the relationship between the disappearance of logos and modernity has been discussed and how the disappearance of logos affects modernity and the crisis of ideologies has been examined. In this context, it has been tried to reveal the possibility of the transformation of the public sphere, which has become a necessity in order to overcome the crisis of modernity.
