Tenbîhü'l-Âkılîn ve Te'kidü'l-Gâfilîn by Lütfî Paşa (Language characteristics-comparative text-index-facsimile)

Lütfî Paşa was an important statesman who lived in the 16th century and held various state positions since the reign of Bayezid II, and served as vizier and vizier during the reign of Suleyman the Magnificent. In this thesis, Lütfî Paşa's Tenbîhü'l-Âkılîn and Te'kidü'l-Gâfilîn were discussed. There are three known copies of the work subject to this thesis, namely Istanbul University Rare Books Library number TY01930, Millet Library Ali Emiri number 257 and Süleymaniye Library Kemal Edip Kürkçüoğlu number 2. At the same time, the third part of the work, Süleymaniye Library. Halet Efendi, is included in a treatise at number 820. In this study, a comparative text was prepared by using all three copies. The work was transferred to the Latin alphabet with transcripted letters, the language was examined and index was prepared. The language examination of the IU copy and the copy of the National Library, which was determined as the auxiliary copy as the basis of the study, was made and the spelling features of the text and the period were revealed. By indexing the text, it was aimed to determine the lexical existence of the 16th century.
