Mâcerâ-yı Mâh (Indtroduction-text-index)

The thesis work we have is carried out for the purpose of making an index of the mesnevi called Macera-yı Mah, which was written by a musical poet named Ūdī. The only copy of the work we are carrying out is in the department of writing works of the National Library. It is prepared on the basis of the copy registered in the YZ A2770 number. The most commonly used part in the study of text reviews is the index and dictionary sections. Index studies are a method used to show in which sense, where and how often a word passes. These studies are important in order to save labor and time for researchers when conducting a work review. In accordance with this purpose the index study was continued. Our study consists of four parts. In the introduction section of our study, general information about the mesnevis named Mihr ü Mah, in the first section, information about the Mihr ü Mah mesnevis, poets and works written in Turkish literature, in the second part, information about the political and literary life of the period is given. In the third part, there is a translated text of the mesnevi called Macera-yi Mah made by Fatma Sabiha Kutlar Oguz. In the last section, the prepared index and the results section are included.
