Human resource management practices and establishment of employment contract in Mali

The purpose of this study, titled "Human Resource Management Practices and establishment of employment contract in Mali", is to determine the historical development of HRM in public and private organizations of Mali and to examine its basic practices. In addition, content and form conditions related to the establishment of an employment contract in Malian Labour law are also discussed within the scope of this objective. Our work consists essentially of three parts. In the first part, the concept of Human Resource Management, its historical development and basic functions are given by using the literature review method. Thereafter, based on case studies in Malian Public Administration and private enterprises, Human Resource Management development and its basic activities were examined. In the third and final part of the study, the definition and elements of the employment contract according to Malian law, the capacity to establish it, the conditions of the employment contract, the prohibitions and obligations of the establishment of the employment contract were included.
