Özet (EN)
In this study, it was aimed to determine the mediator role of marital relationship beliefs and relationship addiction on the predictor of marital adjustment of attachment to parents in emerging adulthood. The data collection techniques used in the research, which consisted of a total of 800 adults, 419 women and 381 men, were collected by questionnaire method. In accordance with this, the Parent Form of the Parent Attachment Scale, the Spann Fischer Relationship Addiction Scale and the Personal Information Form were used for the individuals participating in the research. The predicted values of the study, marital relationship beliefs, were determined by using the 'Marriage Relationship Beliefs Scale', dependency in a relationship using the 'Spann-Fischer Relationship Addiction Scale', marital adjustment using the 'Marriage Adjustment Scale', and the data for the predictor variable using the 'Parent Attachment Scale'. Analysis of the data was made by selecting 528 married emerging adults from a sample of 800 emerging adults. While analyzing the data, SPSS 24 and AMOS 25 package programs were used. It was decided whether the data had a normal distribution or not by examining the Skewness (Kurtosis) and Kurtosis (skewness) values of the data. Accordingly, these values for parental attachment are -.591 and .349, respectively; between -.774 and -.730 for marital adjustment and family function; .443 and -.304 for marital relationship beliefs and .479 and -.545 for relationship addiction. The z-scores obtained between -1.96 and +1.96 indicate that the data show a normal distribution. As a method of analyzing the data, the relationships between the continuous variables of the study were obtained through the Pearson Product-Moment Correlation Coefficient (r). Moreover, Bootstrapping (resampling) method was used to determine whether marital relationship beliefs and relationship addiction have a mediating role in the effect of parental attachment on marital adjustment and family functions in married individuals. According to the results obtained from the research, attachment to parents (ap), marital relationship beliefs (mrb) and relationship addiction (ra) predict marital adjustment (ma). In addition to the basic variables such as parental attachment (pa) and marital adjustment , within the scope of the study, marital relationship beliefs, which were included in the model as mediator variables, and the mutual predictive status of dependency variables in relationships were examined. According to the results obtained, it was determined that marital relationship beliefs predicted relationship addiction and relationship addiction predicted marriage relationship beliefs. It has been revealed that the mediator variables (mrb) and (ra) play a partial mediation role. In the study, which predicts that the emerging adulthood period covers the 18-35 age range, it has been revealed how the parental attachment styles of married individuals in the emerging adulthood affect their marital adjustment, relationship addictions and marital relationship beliefs.
