Abstract (EN)

Fabricated Metal Products sector is among the leading sectors of the manufacturing industry in Turkey. The sustainability and competitiveness of this sector depends on their financial performance. Therefore, their ability to maintain their competitive power in a healthy way and to see how successful they are, requires measuring and analyzing their financial performance. Especially, as a result of the analysis made with Multi-Criteria Decision Making Methods, it is important to analyze financial performance by analyzing many criteria and alternatives at the same time in order to obtain a healthier and holistic perspective. The purpose of this study is to how the results can be indexed by evaluating the financial performance of companies registered in the Metal Goods Index (XMESY) with 5 year data (2015-2019). Financial performance analysis has been analyzed using Bulut Performance Index method, which is a dynamic method of MCDM methods. While applying the method, financial ratios are used under 5 main groups of liquidity ratios, efficiency ratios, financial structure ratios, profitability ratios and growth ratios used in ratio analysis. After the scores of the alternatives were calculated at the general index level and the ranking values were determined, the outputs were obtained on the basis of sub-indices and the enterprises were analyzed both within themselves and among themselves. Thus, it is aimed to provide decision makers with an effective and versatile performance evaluation model.
