Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to investigate the effects of Funneliformus mosseae and indigenous mycorrhiza spores (which was extracted on sunflower plants grown Menekşe soil series) with different P dose applications on sunflower plant grown, nutrient uptake and atmospheric carbon fixation. The experiment was carried out as a pot experiment in 2021 in a semi-controlled greenhouse environment of Çukurova University, Department of Soil Science and Plant Nutrition. The research was established as a pot experiment with 3 repetitions of six different P doses of 0, 5, 10, 20, 40 and 80 mg P2O5 kg-1 application with indigenous and selected Fu. mosseae mycorrhiza spore inoculation. LG50,455CLP variety of sunflower plant (Helianthus annuus L.) was used on Menekşe soil series. At harvest, plant shoot, root dry weights, rhizosphere soil samples were taken and analyzed for C, N, P, K, Ca, Mg, Fe, Cu, Mn and Zn concentrations. Root length, volume, diameter, area, specific root length as well as soil organic carbon concentration were analyzed. Fu. mosseae and natural mycorrhiza inoculation significantly increased plant height and dry matter compared to control plants. It was determined that increasing P doses addition increases plant growth and nutrient uptake up to 20 mg P2O5 kg-1 (P2) level. Up to 20 mg P2O5 kg-1 P addition Fu. mosseae inoculation was made more contribution to plant growth. More P addition after 20 mg P2O5 kg-1 indigenous mycorrhizal fungi made high contribution to plant growth. It has been determined that mycorrhizal fungi significantly fix more atmospheric CO2 into plant tissues. Keywords: Mycorrhiza, Sunflower, Phosphorus doses, Nutrient's concentrations, Carbon fixation
