Abstract (EN)

In this research, the poems involved in the National Library cönks of Gedâî from Tokat, a minstrel of XIX Century, were collected. The aim of this research is to reveal and examine the known poems of Gedâî; and at the same time to present the poems to the realm of literature that have not been included in the studies so far. In the introduction part of the study, information about the minstrel style poetry tradition was given. Also, XIX Century minstrel literature in which Gedâî lived was discussed. In the second part, Gedâî's life, literary personality, style and themes of his poems were studied. In the third part, new poems of Gedâî pseudonym found in the National Library were examined in terms of language and style. In the fourth part of the research, there are poems belonging to Gedâî. By comparing these poems with the previous studies and the differences in words and verses were indicated in the footnote. In addition, in this section, poems not found in previous studies on Gedâî were also included. In the fifth part of the study, the cönks studied on were introduced. In the conclusion part; the results obtained through this study were defined and the meaning of unknown words in the poems were explained in the dictionary part. Also the sources used in the bibliography were specified. In addition, the newly identified facsimile texts belonging to Gedâî were included the appendix section.
