Evaluation of ephemerality concept in architecture through pavilions

Human have been making an effort against time, nature and living things since the existence. Due to the need for protection against the living creatures in his environment, he needed nature and existing natural objects. Knowing that his life will continue and end for a certain period of time, mankind is in a race against time. All these are the reasons for the desire of a person to leave a permanent work. He tried to express himself in different forms and structures from tents to skyscrapers, which is the simplest campus to be permanent. Due to the advancement of time and the increase in consumer societies, technological developments, differentiation of needs, and change of life style, human beings have moved from permanent to temporary. One of the main reasons was speed. Rapid lifestyle has led to increased changes, thereby creating mobile and changeable spaces instead of stable ones. In the future, people started to search for impermanence in their place. We see the best examples of this in pavilion building types that are generally designed for short periods in public spaces. The aim of this study is to examine the temporary structures that we encounter as a new search in contemporary design as an architectural form and to investigate its effect on architecture.
