Many works on world history were written in the Ottoman Empire. One of the works in question is the ten-volume work called Mir'âtü'l-İber, which was written by the statesman, chief clerk of the chamber, intellectual, writer, poet and privateer Mehmed Said Pasha of Diyarbekir in the 19th century. Mir'âtü'l-İber is an Arabic phrase consisting of the Arabic words "Mir'at" and "Iber", which means "Mirror of the Signs". The first nine volumes are printed and the last volume is manuscript. The tenth volume is in the Istanbul Museum Library as it is a manuscript. The second volume, which is studied by us, consists of 7 chapters and consists of Indian geography, history and sect, Chinese geography, history and sect, Syrian geography, Phoenicians, Seleucid State, Bani Israel Ahval-ı Akhira, Beni Hasmonean Government, Hiradese Government, Tedmür, Ba'lebek, Tatarstan, Turkistan geography, Haykaniye geography and state, Arshakian State, Asia Minor geography, Arabian Peninsula and the characteristics, customs, rhetoric and religion of the Arabs are included. In general, the study consists of 5 sections: "Introduction", "Said Pasha's Life, Literary Personality and Works", "Mir'âtü'l-İber (Volume II)", "Text" and "Personal and Place Names Index". consists of. In the introduction, information about general history books is given and historians from Diyarbakır are briefly mentioned. Said Pasha's life, literary personality and works are introduced in the section called "Section One" after the introduction. The third chapter, Mir'âtü'l-İber (Volume II), is the "Title of the Work", "Date Written", "Sources", "Language and Style", "Considerations When Creating the Text" and "Content". divided into 6 parts. In the name of the work and the date it was written, information about the name of the work and when it was written is given. In the language and style part, the language features of the text; In the bibliography section, the issues such as the annotators mentioned by the author in his work and which sources he referred to while writing his work are mentioned. In the section of considerations while creating the text, while transferring the text to latin letters, Arabic-Persian prepositions, couplets, phrases, words; It is mentioned how the subjects such as old Turkish conjunctions and proper nouns are handled. In the last part, the content part, there is a summary of the text. In the "Text" section of the study, the work was transferred from Arabic letters to Latin letters. In the last section, "Index of Persons and Places", only the index of names of persons and places and places mentioned in the text has been created.
