Abstract (EN)
In this study, it is aimed to evaluate the Turkish poets who succeed to be a permanent in Turkish literature between the period of Tanzimat (1860) and Garip Poetry (1940). Cause of impossible to study all of the poets in this date range, it is selected the poets which has had his own originality and is reading also in this time. Theoretical framework design based on the basic concepts that determine the relationship between first class poet and reader. In addition, until the Tanzimat period, Turkish poetry and Western literature in general terms of poets' views on the subject of the reader has been evaluated. In the second part of the Tanzimat II. Constitutional Monarchy, the third part II. From the Constitutional Monarchy to the Republic, in the fourth chapter, the role of the reader in the Republican period and finally in the Garip movement was questioned. In the thesis, by comparing the findings obtained by analyzing the primary and secondary texts with close reading technique in accordance with qualitative research methods, the projections of poet's perception of reader in theory and practice were tried to be determined. In this respect, a wide range of materials were used by using the determinations of language and style, dedications, theoretical and poetic writings, literary histories and critical texts.The readers envisaged by the poets discussed were tried to be classified according to the types of readers we propose together with reader-centered theorists. As a result, it was seen that the literary imagination of the poets within the scope changed according to the literary schools and communities to whom they belong, as well as their individual ideal and orientation. As a result of this evaluation, the table shows the diversity of the poets' literary imagination in the long period from the beginning of the new Turkish poem to the transition to the modernist phase, and also shows that this diversity plays a role in the breaking phases of our history of poetry.
