Philosophy and logic relationship in modern Turkey. -A Yavuz Aksoy centered study who is mathematics historian-

The thesis, which aims to study the Philosophy and Logic Relationship in Modern Turkey based on Yavuz Aksoy who is one of the leading scientists our country trained, consists of foreword, introduction, three parts, conclusion and bibliography. In the introduction part of the thesis, the importance of the logic, mathematics and music fields in which Aksoy made important contributions was established by linking up the connection between the project Rehousing Philosophy in Anatolia and our work. In the first part, by giving detailed information about the life of Yavuz Aksoy, his transition to academic life is evaluated and an introduction to "social philosophy" is made. In the second part, by focusing on his academic personality, his contributions to the academic life of the Republican Period are examined in detail. In the third and last part, the meaning given by Aksoy to the concepts of knowledge, science and philosophy of science was discussed and the distinction he made regarding the classification of sciences was examined. In this section, especially Yavuz Aksoy's views on the relationship between logic and mathematics were analyzed. This part is also devoted to Yavuz Aksoy's views on the relationship between music and mathematics. In the conclusion part, Yavuz Aksoy's contributions to the academic back ground of our country in the fields of logic, mathematics and music were evaluated, and its place in the history of philosophy and science was emphasized.
