Molecular study the INF–Ɣ(+874A/T) polymorphism and some biochemicaltest in patient with breast cancer

The current work aimed to study the correlation of IFN-γ(+874A/ T) polymorphism with Breast cancer and estimate the liver functions and the renal functions. This study included a total of (80) women with breast cancer. The patients' ages ranged from 25 to 70. Between January to March 2022, these patients were admitted to Kirkuk Oncology center, Iraq (2022). In addition, (50) healthy people were included as a control group in this investigation. The results of the current study demonstrated significant differences between studied groups. Whereas, creatinine and urea level in patients was showed significant increase compare with control group. Whereas, ALT level in patients was showed non-significant (P≤0.05) increase compare with control group. While, ALP level in patients was showed significant (P≤0.05) increase compare with control group. Finally, Our results showed that patients with the IFN-γ +874 A/T AT genotype were much more likely to advance to a malignant stage, and that there was a statistically significant relationship between genotype frequency and BC. As a result, possessing the AA genotype is associated with a better prognosis for the condition.
