Abstract (EN)

In this study, it is aimed to obtain normative data in Turkey in order to evaluate whether the Adult Version of MOXO d-CPT ADHD (Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder) Test can be used as an assessment tool in the diagnosis of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. The study population consists of 32 adults with ADHD and 83 adults without ADHD, making a total of 115 individuals. The results indicated that MOXO Adult Version was a robust and valid tool to detect individuals with ADHD by all subscales of MOXO, which are Attention, Timing, Impulsivity, and Hyperactivity. In addition, MOXO was able to detect ADHD independent of gender and age by all of its subscales, namely Attention, Timing, Impulsivity, and Hyperactivity. It is concluded that MOXO Adult Version can be used in research and in diagnosis studies because it has more subscales compared to the conventional ADHD scales, has a robust effect size, and has the ability to detect discrepancies at a high significance level.
