Muhammed bin Hussein Er-Revani̇'s work called Hilyetü'l-Mülûk (Analysis-text-index)

Hilyetü'l-Mülûk is a prose written in the prose genre during the Classical Ottoman Turkish period, which we find worthy of work on in order to put forward the historical development of the Turkish written language in the 17th century in a healthier way. It translated by Muhammad bin Hüseyin Er-Revanì on behalf of Sultan İbrahim from Iranian Sayyid Ali Hemedāni's Zâhiretü'l-Mülûk, in 07 November 1642. A single copy of the work is registered in the Treasury section of the Topkapi Palace Museum Library at number 360. The work consists of 201 leaf, naskh line is written and each leaf has 19 lines. A total of 18 sheets in the range of 47b-48b and 75b-90b were used extensively. The text is still, however, it is often used in verses and hadith. The work consists of a total of 12 section, two of which belong to the translator. The section up to 75a is the first 2 sections that the translator adds to his translation. The fact that the added sections are quite bulky, and that the translation is given a different name shows that the work is a copyright / translation work. For this purpose, my translator unlike the original Hilyetü'l-Mülûk is valued to find it appropriate to name. In the introduction part of our study on Hilyetü'l-Mülûk; Seyyid Ali Hemedâni and Muhammed bin Hüseyin's life is given information about the subject and purpose of the work, the title of the work, the content, the importance and place of Turkish history and literature, the method used in the preparation of the work is given. In order to contribute to a better understanding of the 17th century Turkish, spelling, and sound structure knowledge of the work were examined. In the spelling section, firstly, it is stated how the vowels and consonants in the work are written at the beginning, in the middle and at the end. In addition, consonants are written in bold and thin order. In the voice information section, vowel-consonant harmony and phonetic events. Under the format information heading, construction suffixes, affixes, adjectives, pronouns, adverbs and prepositions are tried to be exemplified. In the text section, the written translation of Hilyetü'l-Mülûk is given. In the index section, "TürkSözDiz" 2.1 index program is used to index the words in the text in alphabetical order. In order to reveal the vocabulary of the work and contribute to the vocabulary of the 17th century Turkish, approximately 8388 article headings were prepared. All the words in the index are numbered with the page and line numbers in the text and given their meaning depending on the text. After the directory partition, the contact names directory is also created. At the end of the work; together with the concluding part, the references, annexes and resume used in the study are included.
