Abstract (EN)
Alienation that is used in various meanings in different fields has been a term as old as humanity history. Alienation, which meant "idolatry" in the old-testament, can be described as distancing from own product, effort, nature, and finally from his own existence as a consequence of individual's own activities. Machinery and technology has began to take up a major place in human life in changing world especially together with the industrial revolution. In time, technological equipments once believed to be produced for the human service has taken out of human control and came to be a hegemony over human. In every phase of the life, however pecuniary comfortableness the machineries and technological equipments have provided, they have spiritually taken away many thing from the human. That has brought the biggest problem of today, alienation, with itself. Alienation gets out as a basic problem in changing Turkish community as from 1960s. Industrialization, emigration from rural to urban, disappearing of rural population, fluctuation of the individual between new and old, distancing from his own existence, and conflict of the individual with oneself are among the most important factors that leads to alienation. Alienation problem in Mustafa KUTLU's narratives-who is a prominent authors of recent times- is a salient issue. Therefore, Kutlu stated that problem almost in all his works. Kutlu, who speaks of alienation by using modern telling techniques without detaching traditional telling techniques, takes benefits of all public literatures like proverb, idiom, ballad, and riddle. Kutlu who also used public narration technique created his works by using plain, natural, simple and short sentences in contrary to complication of alienation.
