Literary work, storytelling and life of Necati Mert

Necati Mert is one of the 70's generation story writers. His first story Mustafa'nın Karesi is published in literature journal Yansıma in 1972, he carries on his authorship life for more than 40 years. In this process, he takes his part in Turkish literature with five stories, three essays, three studies, one theatrical play, two children's stories and a memoir; totally with 15 books.Our work consists of four parts. The first part is on Necati Mert's life, his works and his opinions about art and literature. After word about his biyography was given it is proceeded to presentation of his works. Afterwards his opinions about art, literature and language those we got from his essays and stories are taken place.The second part includes a thematical examining of his stories. Themes those we got from the stories are clarified by giving examples from texts.In the third part, stories are researched in the way of fictional reality, phrases, place, time, people, point of view, narrator and wording as part of technical factors.In the last part, place of Necati Mert in Turkish literature is tried to be defined.
