Abstract (EN)
In this research project, it was aimed to identify the pyschological control and perfectionism levels which are perceived from the mothers and fathers by 10 year old to 18 year old children whose parents had been diagnosed with obsessive compulsive disorder. In Ondokuzmayıs University, Medical School, applicants of pyschiatry department, children of mothers and fathers (n=30) who have diagnosed to OCD as DSM-IV.TR, DSM-V.TR criteria have taken into consideration. Also, in the control group, children and adolescents (n=30) from Samsun/19 Mayıs Atatürk Junior High School and Samsun/Bafra, Altınkaya High School was included whose mothers and fathers was not identified to any pyschiatric issue. It was approved that the average age of the children and adolescents were 14.80±2.88 (min. 10 years old, max. 18 years old). In the collection of the working data, demographic form, multi dimensional perfectionism scale, and pyschological control scale was applied to the children and adolescents. The datas received by the research was diagnosed with Windows 21.0 program. Findings were discussed according to the literature. Working findings were consistent with most of the current literature working results. According to the datas, individuals, whose mothers and fathers were diagnosed to OCD were more close to the perfectionism where as the individuals whose mothers and father were not diagnosed to OCD. It was approved that compared to individuals, whose fathers has not diagnosed to OCD, the individuals whose fathers have diagnosed to OCD had higher pyschological controlling level.
