Investigation of the relationship between teachers' job satisfaction and ethical leadership level perceived for school administrators

The aim of this study is to investigate the relationship between teachers' job satisfaction and ethical leadership level perceived for school administrators. Within the framework of this general aim, it is aimed to determine the ethical leadership and job satisfaction levels perceived by the teachers according to their gender and educational stages. Furthermore, when the ethical leadership scores of the teachers are checked, it is aimed to reveal whether there is a significant difference between job satisfaction levels according to gender and educational stages. The population of the study consists of teachers working in official kindergartens, primary schools, secondary schools and high schools in the central and central villages of the province of Burdur. Cluster random sampling method was used. Personal information form, Ethical Leadership Scale and Job Satisfaction Scale were used as data collection tools. The data were analyzed using SPSS 22 and Smart PLS. As a result of the analyzes, it was seen that the ethical leadership levels perceived by the teachers for school administrators significantly predicted job satisfaction levels. When the ethical leadership scores of the teachers were checked, it was concluded that there was no significant difference between the job satisfaction levels according to their gender, but there was a significant difference between job satisfaction levels according to the educational stages they worked.
