The relationship between teachers 'perceptions on the management of differences in schools and level of organizational silence

This study was conducted to determine the relationship between school administrators 'differences management strategies and teachers' organizational silence levels according to the perceptions of secondary school teachers. The study was conducted as relational screening model was used. The population of the research consists of a total of 418 teachers working in 33 secondary schools in the city center of Bitlis in 2019-2020 academic year. Because limited number of teachers in the universe and there is easy access to the whole universe, sampling has not been taken. Of the 410 scales distributed, 403 were found suitable for analysis. The "Management of Differences in Education Scale developed by Balay and Sağlam (2004) and the Sess Organizational Silence Scale for Teachers developed by Kahveci and Demirtaş (2013) were used obtian data. Frequency and percentage, standard deviation, arithmetic mean, Kruskall Wallis, mann whitney u-test, spearman correlation analysis and regression analysis techniques were used in the analysis of the data. The findings of the result confirmed statistically significant differences in regard to demographic variables according to perception of teacher, participated in the study. Result of correlational analysis suggest a significant and high level of association between the management of differences and organizational silence.The result of regression analysis stated the there is a perceived differences management skills of seceondary school teachers was a significant predictor of organizational silence level.
