Examination of 4-6 age period Qur'an Course Instructor Book (1-2) in terms of preschool religious education

With the innovation movements in Turkey, politics, economy, etc. The change that emerged in many fields was reflected in education in general and religious education in particular. In addition to the pre-school education of the Ministry of National Education, the 4-6 Years Qur'an Courses Curriculum was prepared in 2013-2014 by the Presidency of Religious Affairs and was put into practice in 10 provinces as a pilot. In order to support the trainers and create a system in these programs, tutorial and activity books were also prepared and these books were renewed in 2018. In this study we have done; We evaluated the 4-6 Years Qur'an Courses Tutorial Book-1 and Qur'an Courses Tutorial Book-2 prepared in 2018 in terms of subject, achievement and effectiveness, and made some criticisms and suggestions. As a result of our study, it has been understood that these books prepared by the Presidency of Religious Affairs are generally in accordance with the principles of pre-school religious education, but various problems are experienced due to the application of the same program, book and curriculum to children aged 4-6.
