The relations between organizational culture and leadership styles: A research conducted on middle managers of the İstanbul Security Directorate

In this study it is aimed to investigate the relationship between to organizational culture and leadership styles. In the first part, there is a deep literature review concerning the leadership styles and organizational culture. Then the relationship between organizational culture and the leadership styles is examined in a detailed manner. In the methodology part, the empirical research conducted on the middle managers of the Istanbul Security Directorate is indicated and a model involving the relationship between to organizational culture and leadership is designed. In the survey, there are 98 questions regarding the organizational culture and 23 questions concerning the leadership styles. The survey is conducted on 125 administrative officers. With SPSS statistics program, factor, reliability, correlation and regression analyses are used for evaluating the data.Key Words: Leadership, organizational culture leadership in the context organizational culture, management.
