Abstract (EN)
Organizational commitment is defined as employees accepting the goals and values of the organization they work for, making efforts for these goals and values and wanting to stay in the organization. Corporate culture is a set of group norms that employees in the enterprise develop over time. These group norms are the usual behavior patterns of employees and are actions taken by everyone without being aware of it. At the same time, corporate culture reveals the values, attitudes, beliefs and assumptions shared by the employees and the expectations, emotions and interactions of the employees by giving a different identity to the employees of the institution and helping the employees to increase their belonging to the institution. The aim of this study is to investigate whether there is a significant relationship between the organizational commitment and corporate culture of middle and senior managers working in the municipalities and hotel businesses in the central districts of Konya. In this study, which was conducted to investigate the relationship between organizational commitment and corporate culture, municipalities with an institutional feature were preferred, as well as four and five-star hotel businesses in corporate structure. A total of 402 questionnaires were applied to middle and senior managers working in the municipalities and hotel businesses in the central districts of Konya. In the study, it was determined that corporate culture and organizational commitment did not change according to the gender of the personnel. However, it has been determined as a result of the research that there are different effect relationships between the sub-dimensions of corporate culture and the sub-dimensions of organizational commitment. As a result of the analysis, it was determined that there was no significant difference between the institutional cultures of the participants in the study according to the working sector. While there was no significant difference between the corporate culture ideas of middle and senior managers working in municipalities and middle and senior managers working in hotel businesses, a significant difference was found between the organizational commitment of the employees of these businesses. At the same time, it has been observed that the organizational commitment of middle and senior managers working in municipalities is higher than hotel employees. A significant and positive relationship was found between the organizational commitment and corporate culture of the employees participating in the research.
