Abstract (EN)
Human beings are in a state of constant change from birth to death. The course of this change varies according to development periods. From this point of view, adolescence is an important developmental period in which people seek identity. Friendship relations become very important in this process in the life of the individual and adolescents who spend time with their peers can be influenced by their peers in the shaping of their religious life and attitudes and behaviors. This effect may cause some changes on the religious education given to him. The aim of this study is to see the effects of adolescents 'relationships with their peers on adolescents' religious attitudes and behaviors, and to determine the point of view of adolescents on formal and non-formal religious education activities. For this purpose, 5 different secondary education institutions affiliated to Amasya Provincial Directorate of National Education were determined and a survey was applied to a total of 462 students from different grade levels between 22/11/2019 - 15/01/2020. The research was completed by evaluating the data obtained as a result. The study consists of two parts. In the first part, the developmental characteristics of the adolescence period, which form the theoretical part of the research, and peer relations in adolescence are discussed. In the second part of the study, the findings obtained from the field research and the evaluations made for the findings are included.
