Abstract (EN)

The main object of this research is to examine the relation between hope, emotion regulation and goal orientation. In the research, the mediation role between the explanation-regression force of hope and emotion regulation for learning orientation and hope and learning orientation of emotion regulation was assessed through the relationship between the variables. The research is a descriptive study in the form of relational screening model. The research included 1448 secondary education students of 9th, 10th and 12nd grade. A hope scale, emotion regulation scale and goal orientation scale were used in the research. For data analysis, an arithmetic mean and standard deviation, Manova, Anova, Correlation analysis, Multiple Regression Analysis and Structural Equation Modeling among the descriptive statistics were used. According to the results obtained from the research, there was a significant correlation between motivation for the goal, finding different ways for achieving the goal, cognitive reassessment and learning orientation. It has been concluded that motivation for the goal, finding different ways for achieving the goal and cognitive reassessment are the significant predictors of the learning orientation and that cognitive reassessment has a mediation role between the hope and learning orientation.
