Investigation of attitudes, academic risk taking and self-concept perceptions of secondary school students towands science lesson

First of all, to get to know the student in depth in the education given in schools, will guide the design of his educational needs, in the next stage of the individual to recognize himself and positive self-perception of the quality of education in the short term, the country's development in the long term will benefit. In this study, it was aimed to determine the relationship between these variables, if any, between the attitudes, perceptions of academic risk and self-concept of the students of Secondary School regarding the education. The attitude scale for the science course developed by Evrekli (2015) in order to search for answers to the research problems and their sub-problems."; The "academic risk taking scale" developed by Clifford (1991) and adapted to Turkish by Korkmaz (2002) and "self-concept scale in children" developed by Piers-Harris (1964) and adapted to Turkish by Öner (1996). In addition, data collected through the "opt-in profile", which includes certain substances and other demographic features that are thought to affect the situation and behavior in question. Research Center in Kırşehir province, the two middle school's 5., 6. 7 and 8. It took place with the participation of 400 students in their classes. The research was carried out with a cross-sectional research pattern, one of the quantitative screening model categories. There was no significant difference between the academic risk taking and the self-concept scores according to the schools, whereas there was a significant difference between the science attitudes compared to the schools.
