In November 2019, with the Covid-19 pandemic process, which affected the whole world, Turkey, like many countries, has switched to the distance education system. With this new education system, teachers' attitudes towards distance education and their ability to use educational technologies have come to the fore. As a matter of fact, their attitudes towards distance education and their ability to use educational technologies appear as factors that affect the success and efficiency of the process. In this study, it is aimed to determine the attitudes of teachers towards distance education before and during the pandemic and to examine the relationship between their attitudes towards distance education and their self-efficacy in educational technology standards. In addition, teachers' attitudes towards distance education were examined in terms of different variables, including pre-pandemic and pandemic period. The study was carried out with the screening model, which is one of the quantitative research methods. The population of the research consists of secondary school teachers working in the Ministry of National Education, and the sample consists of 317 secondary school teachers working in the central district of Şahinbey in Gaziantep. In the study, "Attitude Scale towards Distance Education", "Education Technologies Standards Self-Efficacy Scale" and "Personal Information Form" were used as data collection tools. The data of the study were collected through "Google Form". As a result of the study, a significant positive relationship was found between teachers' attitudes towards distance education and educational technology standards, both before and during the pandemic. Teachers' attitudes during the pandemic period include "getting education through distance education", "using Web 2.0 tools in their lessons", "participating in courses (in-service training, special course) to improve their professional skills", "branch", "vocational seniority". " variables While it differs significantly according to; In the pre-pandemic period, "providing education through distance education" created a significant difference according to the variables of "professional seniority".
