The effects of commercial amino acid applications through soil and leaves on quality and crops in greenhouse tomato cultivation

Abstract (EN)

In this study conducted in Kumluca district of Antalya province, it is aimed to determine the most appropriate dosage and application of amino acid, which has been used in agricultural production in recent years, with different applications made from leaf, soil and both soil and leaf in greenhouse tomato cultivation. In the grower greenhouse where the study was conducted, it was applied in three different ways: on autumn tomato, leaf (0, 50, 100 and 200 ml), soil (0, 500, 1000 and 2000 ml), and both leaf and soil. It has been tried to determine what kind of changes the different amino acid doses in these three different applications will cause in the plant, fruit and soil. 16 different topics in the study were carried out in three replications in a total of 48 plots. In the evaluations made as a result of the research; In the application of 1000 ml amino acid from the soil and 200 ml from the leaf, an increase of 49% was determined in the total yield per plant compared to the control application. In the amino acid application of 1000 ml applied only from the soil; Average fruit diameter 65.44 mm, average fruit weight 131.57 g, average fruit weight 131.67 g, average fruit diameter 65.43 mm in 200 ml amino acid application only from the leaf, the highest values were determined. As a result of the analysis of fruit samples; Total nitrogen was found to be 3.28% in 1000 ml application from the soil, the phosphorus and zinc content of the fruit in 500 ml amino acid application were 0.30% and 20.05 mg kg-1, respectively, and the total nitrogen values were found to be the highest in 200 ml application alone. When 2000 ml of amino acid was applied in the soil and 100 ml in the leaf, the highest value was obtained with 28.67 mg kg 1 of the fruit. As a result of the analysis made on leaf samples; Total nitrogen 3.33% in 1000 ml application from soil, phosphorus and mangan content of leaves in 2000 ml amino acid application respectively 0.28% and 120.80 mg kg 1, total nitrogen 3.29% in foliar application of 200 ml total manganese 122.23 mg kg 1 and in leaf application 100 ml 0.28% values were found to be the highest. When 2000 ml of amino acid was applied from the soil and 200 ml from the leaf, the iron content of the leaves was found to be the highest with 41.00 mg kg-1. As a result of the analyzes made on soil samples, at a soil depth of 0-20 cm; The highest amount of organic matter (5.16%) and total nitrogen value (0.36%) were obtained from 2000 ml of amino acid application from the soil. 20-40 cm deep of soil; The highest organic matter content (4.97%), total nitrogen content (0.34%), phosphorus content (171.70 mg kg 1), potassium content (1.27 me 100- 1 g) were obtained from the soil application of 2000 ml of amino acids. When all the application data were evaluated, it was determined that the effects of the interaction of 1000 ml from the soil and 200 ml from the leaf were statistically significant compared to other applications. In the light of all these data, it has been demonstrated that a product obtained from animal wastes increases yield, quality and some development parameters in agricultural production, and can also be recycled from waste, preventing negative effects on soil, water resources and the environment, and contributing to economic gain.
