Abstract (EN)

In Turkish Literature, many works about morality which are not only prose but also written in verse have been compiled or translated. Ahlak-i Muhsini which is written by Hossein Va'iz Kashifi in Persian is one of the most important works of this field. This study includes the work entitled Ahlak-i Ahmedi, which Osmanzade Ahmed Tâib translated Ahlak-i Muhsini in short. This work, which has the feature of an ethic and political treatise, was formed in forty subjects. A moral point was handled in every subject matter. The subjects were handled with hadith and verse of the Koran also with some versification types such as couplets, poetries, stanzas, and verses. At the same time, one or more than one story, which is about the topic, has been narrated in every subject. Osmanzade Tâib did not translate Ahlak-i Muhsini word by word. He translated it as an abstract and he made a mention of his own poems in his work as well. In our thesis before moving on to the text, information about ethics, Kashifi Hossein Va'iz and his works, Osmanzade, his works, and literary identity are delivered. After the examination and evaluation of Ahlak-i Ahmedi are made, transcription of the work has been given.
