Abstract (EN)
This research aims to contrast between the Arabic, Turkish and Kurdish languages, with respect to subjects and predicate The importance of the research lies in its taking into account three languages belonging to different language families. The first is the Arabic language, which belongs to the family of Hamitic Semitic languages. The second is the Turkish language, which belongs to the Ural-Altaic family of languages. The latter is the Kurdish language, which belongs to the Indo-European family of languages. The Research follows a contrastive methodology, thus, it describes the subjects and predicate in the Arabic, Turkish and Kurdish languages from the perspective of linguistic contrastive. Then it establishes the similarities and differences with regards to the subject and predicate in every language. The information gained especially the description of the subjects in the three languages leads to many contrastive which can be summarized as follows: The Arabic, Turkish and Kurdish languages agree that the subject and predicate are the main elements in each language on the same importance, thus it is not possible to dispense of in it any manner. The study concludes with some recommendations and research proposals that may pave the way for researchers to find modern research topics related to teaching and learning Arabic as a second language.
