Abstract (EN)

The study will examine the precautions to taken to protect employees from the dangers of explosive environments and the dangers that may occur in workplaces. And it show the types of explosions that will take place in the environment. These are Flammable, Explosive, Flammable Gas, Vapors and Dusts. What kind of energy sources exist for explosive gas mixtures to create explosive envıronmet and the effects of these energy sources on the formation of explosive envıronmet are explained. İn addition it shows what is explosive envıronmet and places that will form explosive envıronmet and their classification. it explained how to do also Fine-Kinney risk assessment method and L Matris risk assessment methods. In this study, a risk assessment was carried out with a Fine-Kınney method and L Matris method to a paint shop operating in the metal coating industry, which is at risk of major accident. Hazards, risks and corrective and preventive actions were identified in the risk assessment.
