Abstract (EN)

Evaluation of Bond Strength Efficiency of Different Repair Methods Applied in PEEK (Polyether Ether Ketone) Infrastructure Restorations The purpose of this study is the evaluation of the appropriate intraoral repair method and repair material for crown-bridge restorations with PEEK infrastructure when there is fracture, rapture etc between PEEK infrastructure crown-bridge restorations and veneer materials, In our study, samples were divided into 13 groups, including the positive control group. The purpose of creating a positive control group; It is the determination of the connection strength between the PEEK and the veneer suprastructure and the evaluation of the repair connection strengths of the other groups. PEEK samples were prepared from Juvora prefabricated blocks with the help of CAD / CAM in dimensions of 5,0 mm, 5,4 mm, and 13,0 mm (N = 107). PEEK suprastructure material was produced from PEEK material in dimension 4,0 mm length, 5,4 mm width and 3,0 mm height. In our study, the veneer was prepared in two ways, depending on the presence or absence of the suprastructure. SEM, EDX, XRD, AFM and surface contact angle analyzes were performed on the surfaces of PEEK infrastructures with surface treatments. Shear force was applied to all prepared samples at a speed of 0,5 mm/min using by universal test device. After the bond strength test, the rupture surfaces of the samples were examined under a stereomicroscope. One Way Anova and Independent Sample t test were used for data analysis (α = 0,05). In the results of this study; Comparing the samples with acid and cojet surface treatment with those without any surface treatment; It was observed that the surface areas, roughness and wettability of acid and cojet group samples increased. In our study, the repair bonding values between PEEK and veneer material were found lower than the control group and surface treatment groups in the groups in which no surface treatment was applied. According to the results in our study; Although etching with acid the most suitable surface treatment, it is seen that the repair bond strength values obtained of surface roughening process with cojet have similar values in the acid group. It was observed that in the presence of broken veneer material in oral repair methods, the repair bond strenght values of Super-Bond C&B groups were higher than the repair bond strenght values of the Visio.link applied groups. It was observed that there was a statistically significant difference in the repair bond strenght values of the Super-Bond C&B and Visio.link applied groups (p = 0,002). In our study, no significant difference was found as a result of the statistical analysis performed for the presence or absence of veneer material (p = 0,295).
