Transkript, analisis and evaluation of the Peyman Newspaper 1325 (1909)

The first printing house in the province of Diyarbakır in the Ottoman period was foonded in h. 1286the newspaper "Diyarbekir" was published in 1869. The first private newspaper in Diyarbakır, Peyman Newspaper, started published 29 June 1909 after the declaration of the second constitotional monarchy. When we look at the information in the first issue of the newspaper, it is understood Mirikatibizade Şükrü, the owner of the newspaper and the manager of the newspaper was published on Monday everyweek. The Numbers 16, 26, 29, 30, 31, 32 and 34 of the newspaper Peyman were not included in the study because they are missing. As a subject, the writers of Peyman who wrote on development and civilization also wrote articles on the Ottoman navy, the activities of the Union and Progress Society, the Ottoman Unitiy and brotherhood, Ottoman practices in the period of Abdülhamid II, the state of the tribes and the correction of them. There are many writers who write in the newspaper, in cluding Ziya Gökalp, Mirikatibizade Şükrü, Amir Adil, Pirinççizade Feyzi, İttihat and Terakki director and captain Mazhar.
