Özet (EN)
One of the most important Nobel-winning writer of contemporary English and World literature, V.S. Naipaul's A Bend in the River, is one of the most important novel which reflects political and social characteristics about Africa. In this study, colonized Africa and societies of Africa will be examined in the light of colonial and post-colonial discourse. During the thesis study, literature search was performed by using the qualitative research methods. V.S. Naipaul is considered as a post-colonial write. Therefore, post-colonial theoretical perspective has been used to reveal that the criticism of the characters and narrator of the colonial world in the novel of Naipaul is also the criticism of the colonialist.
