Premestrual Syndrome (PMS), one of the most common problems in women of reproductive age, occurs with repetitive, psychological, physical and behavioral symptoms. Women use pharmacological and non-pharmacological methods to reduce these symptoms. One of the most common methods is Traditional And Complementary Medicine Practices. The research was carried out to determine the traditional and complementary medicine practices used by women experiencing premenstrual syndrome. The sample of the descriptive study was 357 women who applied to the "Gynecology and Obstetrics" polyclinic of Düzce University Health Practice and Research Center. The data were collected by using the Personal Information Form and the Premenstrual Syndrome Scale (PMSÖ) in order to determine the life situation of Premenstrual Syndrome. In the evaluation of the data, number, percentages, Kolmogorov Smirnov test, Pearson Correlation Coefficient, Chi-Square Test, Fisher's Exact Chi-Square Test, Freeman-Halton Fisher Exact (Exact) Chi-Square tests were used. As a result of the research, it was found that women received an average of 129.67 ± 19.17 points from PMSÖ. It was determined that 82.9% of women experienced PMS and 83.8% of women living with PMS used GETAT methods. 26.2% of women experiencing PMS use 60% of fennel tea, 26.8% of them use massage from body therapies, 90.7% benefit, 23.8% walk, It was found that it benefited, 85.1% took a shower, 99.6% benefited, 90.7% applied hot to the abdomen, 99.6% benefited. It can be suggested that women be informed about the GETAT methods used in PMS and their usefulness.
