Abstract (EN)
In this study, it is aimed to determine what the project management problems encountered in wind power plant installation projects are, what the project management methodologies applied in wind power plant installation projects are, to determine the correlation between the problems encountered and the applied methodology, and to determine the most appropriate project management methodology that should be applied in wind power plant installation. A survey (Annex-1) was developed to determine the project management methodology applied in WPPs established in Turkey. It was sent online to 274 companies in Turkey. These companies in the sample were taken from the official website of the Ministry of Energy. This online survey was applied to the project implementers of the companies. The data received here was analyzed with jamovi and findings were obtained. As a result of these findings, the correlation between the methodology and the problems encountered in WPPs was determined. When we look at the intensity of the methodology used by project managers in the installation of wind power plants, it is analyzed that the order of success is waterfall, kanban, agile, scrum, lean. As a result, it has been determined that managers using waterfall and kanban methodologies are using a correct technique and should continue to use it, and it is suitable for RES installation, but project managers using lean methodology are not suitable for RES installation, and project managers using this technique should first apply waterfall and then kanban methodology. It is predicted that project managers need to change their methodology for project success
