Abstract (EN)

Today the majority of Kazakhs live in the Republic of Kazakhstan. They live also inChina, new independent Turkishs republics and, densely, in the district of Zeytinburnubeloning to İstanbul, in Turkey.The population of Kazakhstan is approximately 16 millons. The offical language ofthe county is Kazakhs language and Russian. İt is a prereqvisite to pass Kazakh language examfor being a government offical. The Turkish dialects, viz. Kazakh, Kirghiz and Tatar languages,are involved in the group of Kıpçak Turkish.% 42 of its population is Muslim, % 44 Orthodox, % 2 Protestant and % 7 the rest.Too the economical data in 1999, the annual in come per each person is 1077 dollars. Theexport is approximately 10 million dollars and the import 7,5 million dollars. Money incurrency is Tenge (April 11, 2001, 1$=145,58 Tenge). For December 10, 1997, the capital cityhas been Akmola-Astana. The square measure of the country is 2724900 km2. The cardinalcities are Almatı, Karaganda, Çimkent, Semipalatinsk, Pavlodar, Petropavlovsk, Cambul,Türkistan.
