Abstract (EN)

This research was structured in a relational screening model to determine the relationship between mobbing exposure levels of guidance teachers working in Bitlis province and perceptions of organizational cynicism. In the 2019-2020 academic year, 179 guidance teachers are employed in public educational institutions under the Ministry of National Education in Bitlis. In order to gather data, the negative behaviour scale adapted to Turkish by Cemaloğlu (2007) and the organizational cynicism scale adapted to Turkish by Kalagan (2009) were used. Statistical package program was used in the analysis of the data collected within the scope of the research. The data were analyzed with difference tests and correlation tests. In the study, the exposure level of guidance teachers to mobbing was very low in the lower dimension of tasks and social relationships and in the total score of negative behaviours. Guidance teachers' perceptions of organizational cynicism and affective cynicism were found to be low and their perceptions of cognitive and behavioural cynicism were determined to be moderate. It has been found that there are significant, moderate and high levels of positive directional relationships between teachers' exposure to mobbing and perceptions of organizational cynicism. Key Words: Mobbing, Organizational Cynicism, Guidance Teacher
