Abstract (EN)

In this study the relation between globalization and mass communication means, has been examined theorically and empirically within the framework of television news, and it is tried to show the emerging forms of structural trends of Channel 5 in Kyrgyzstan and FOX TV in Turkey in July 20-24, 2009 news bulletins.In our study which aimed to determine how news is represented in private televisions, answers are looked for a lot of questions such as why news is concentrated on the institutions related with the issue or on the individuals rather that existing structure among sources of news, why the news of the official authorities is so oppressing; why news is abstracted from social context; why social movements are taken over by summarizing in stead of reflecting them as a whole. While the news text mediation of speeches of political, economical, military and symbolic elites gained legitimacy and it is tried to show that they have been effective in the formation of consent towards existing social structure, even if it provides suitability to include the views of various political parties, groups, specialist in the news from the point of equity principle, in appearance, it has been put forward that, these hindered contrary speeches leak in the text of news.Commercial broadcasting economy, revolves around the sale of spectators against advertisement income, requirements direct the programs towards known and tried formulas and formats inevitably, and causes them to be far away from risk and renovation. While the great capital oppressed economic-politic structure behind private television broadcasting, which will provide the greatest advantage in maintaining this structure, is in powerful situation, it will not be wrong to indicate that there is an effective cultural industry, within existing production relations of Channel 5 and FOX TV.
