IV ABSTRACT Master Thesis WIND ENERGY AND A WIND PLANT WHICH IS DESLNGNED FOR ELAZI? CONDITIONS Muhammet TOKLU Fırat University Graduate School of Naturel and Applied Sciences Department of Electrical Education 2002, Page : 98 Wind energy has an significant importance among the renewable energy sources. Most of energy sources exhausts by the time, but the wind energy will never exhausts unless the sun disappears. Wind enegy is known for long ages. In this study; wind, anemometers, wind energy, conversions of wind enegy into electrical energy, wind turbines, wind plants and the climate of Elazığ are investigated.
