Abstract (EN)
Ethics is applying morality in scope of right-wrong and good-bad to social relations and societal norms. Ethics concept takes place in every facet of life. On the other hand, importance of ethical applications in health system which has crucial importance, take the highest place. In Turkey, recent researchs indicated that unethical practices is a common problem in health system. Health is a field which has lowest place for error with regard to its vitality. Thus, inhibiting unethical practices matters more than inhibiting that in other fields. In scope of the issue, study aims at identifying ethical perception among healthcare professionals. As a result of the questionnaire applied to 195 healthcare professionals, results related to frequency of encounter with ethical problems; in the case of encountering, tendency for seeking help; types of ethical problems that they encounter; effects of education level on recognizing and solving ethical problems, and the person whom they asked for help when they encounter with ethical problem are identified. Results are discussed in the light of literature. Kolmogorov-Smirnov Test was used to determine normality distributions in the analysis of data; Independent samples T-test, One-way ANOVA was used in the framework of inferential statistics. Asthe result of the study it was determined that health workers were most frequently involved in receiving help from the point of total score of sub-scale to recognize ethical problems and that there was a meaningful difference according to self-sufficient vision without realizing ethical problems. The obtained data have been discussed in the literature.
